Kuala Lumpur Rail Network as shown on this page, covers the routes of the LRT, KTM Komuter, KL Monorail and the KLIA Express Rail Links. Listed are the routes and stations. The rail network of Kuala Lumpur covers not just the Federal Territory but extends into the greater Klang Valley. While the stations described on this website include those outside the boundaries of the federal territory, the places of interest described are only those within Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Places of interest appearing outside the federal territories are described in my other website, Exploring Malaysia. These include the sight within Selangor or Negri Sembilan that are also served by the rail transporation network of Kuala Lumpur.

The names shown on the Train Routes refer to the commuter station. They are hyperlinked to details about the respective station. Interchange stations, and stations within short walking distance are highlighted in bold, with station in proximity in brackets. Bus Hubs are shown in italics. For the convenience of visitors to Kuala Lumpur, I recommend only studying the rail network without going into the details of the local buses routes, which are not sufficiently permanent to be practical to short-term visitors.
